I led the collection from early concept and research through design development translating recognizable island landmarks, local expressions, and coastal traditions into a playful knitwear assortment. The collection combines nostalgic graphics, novelty details, and classic nautical color to create pieces that feel distinctly Nantucket while remaining wearable beyond the island.

CONCEPT & CREATIVE DIRECTION
Inspired by Nantucket’s coastal landmarks, sailing culture, local language, and nostalgic summer traditions, I developed a visual direction that felt charming, recognizable, and slightly unexpected.

I translated familiar Nantucket references into a graphic language that ranged from clean typography to detailed pictorial knits. Each motif was refined to maintain its personality while working within the scale, color, and construction requirements of the garment.

Inspired by Nantucket’s dog-friendly coastal lifestyle, this playful sweater features a hand-drawn pup wearing a signature red bandana. The artwork was refined for knit construction while preserving its charming, illustrated character.

Inspired by vintage destination pennants, I developed the Nantucket graphic with hand-drawn lettering and explored navy and green colorways for a classic collegiate feel.
